stubhub.com

Horrible customer service at Stubhub. After Hurricane Ike caused my Houston flight to be canceled, as well as the Texans NFL game, they wouldn't refund my Texans tickets because they said the game wasn't "canceled", just "postponed". Very difficult and frustrating to deal with them...

Ebay or stub hub for the best price or the local newspaper. I still go down a few blocks from the arena and buy from the scalpers if i need something at the last minute. The police make them stay away from the immediate vicinity but don't bother with them.

Craigslist is gonna be your best bet.

I would be very careful about buying off craigslist. Have read and seen news reports on fake tickets being sold. The pats had over 50 people turned away to a game this year after their tickets were confirmed at the gates to be fake. Some spent up to 300 bucks per ticket , i understand it might be cheaper in some cases but ive never gotten fake tickets from ticketmaster / stubhub / or any box office

What happens if I told you that there was a company that was guaranteeing that you could get tickets for under face value every time with no servicing fee? Well, it’s now reality.

A company called ScoreBig has unveiled ScoreBig.com, a Web site that gets its inventory from teams hoping to put butts in the seats. Just like Priceline.com, it allows you to submit your price for a ticket to a game, offering recommendations based on what previous fans have bought it for.
Instantaneously, your offer — which is for sitting in a particular section, not a particular seat — is either confirmed or rejected. If it's rejected, you have to wait a day before trying again on that game.

Teams win because they get fans into the seats. Fans win because they’ll go to a game they might have not gone to.
