I had season tickets to the 76ers from 2000-2002 so I saw alot of Vince Careter and I must say he was one of the best I've ever seen play in person. If I'm not mistake in 2001 when the 76ers played LA in the Finals we went 6 or 7 games with Toronto and during that series Vince Carter did some things I've never seen any NBA player do EVER. Good thread Kidman because I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who forget or never ealized this guy was one of the best.

Born and raised in Jersey, it was a treat to watch him work with J-Kidd in the Meadowlands.
J-Kidd loved him on the court, off the court I don't know, but they played great as a tandem while Nets.

Vince Carter, like most players, as they age tend to lose not only their athleticism but their speed and shooting touch. IMHO, Vince reached this stage in his career a couple of seasons ago. He couldn't handle Carmelo Anthony at all last night and he has a tendency to take poor shots at inopportune times and not much of a team player.
