What Movie Franchises Did You Like The 1st Movie, But Hate The Sequels????

for me, I really liked the 1st starship troopers. The other 2 movies are complete jokes. Any other series stand out to people on here?

the first is usually the best.

rocky 1 i really liked not a huge fan of number 2, pretty much liked the rest except rocky 5.

halloween is another one i liked the jamie lee curtis one, didnt care for them so much after that.

major league also comes to mind.

bill n teds excellent adventure way better then the bogus journey.

jaws, way better then its sequels.

have never seen the matrix movies.

Another good thread would be what series had a sequel that was better then the original. I have a few in mind but they are rare. Listing sequels that sucked could take me all day on the other hand.

this would be hard pressed to find very many. most people wont watch a sequel if they thought the first one sucked.

teen wolf is another id like to add to my orginal list. teen wolf too is probably the dumbest fuckin movie i ever saw.

house party 2 is vastly superior to 1, 3, and 4

i think i may have enjoyed iron eagle 2 more than the first as well

evil dead 2 also comes to mind for sequels that were better than the first
