We are happy to announce the finalization of our new mobile platform. In effort to get a better players perspective, and a thorough beta test, we are debuting the platform here at TheRX with a Free $8 to try it out. All wagers are valid and the money is real. In advance there may be some small issues in the software platform that will be determined better via this test. In the case of any wager issues, we will assist you as always with those specific issues. We thank you for your time and consideration in advance.

If you are opening a new account you need to go to Betphoenix.com to get your account set up first. You can then find our Mobile platform at: mb.betphoenix.com

Rules:

In order to receive the free $8 credit, you need to mail your account number to mobile@betphoenix.com

The free $8 must be used exclusively on our mobile betting platform.
You must bet $50 worth of action exclusively on our mobile site before any withdrawal can be made.
1 item per player and household allowed.
ID is required before withdrawal can be made.
You must send an email to mobile@betphoenix.com with a quick review and critique of our mobile service before withdrawal can be made.

In the case you have an active account, we will provide you with a new account specifically for this test.

nice to have things load faster but there are too many screens to have to weed through to place a bet......maybe make it like the actual BP (old site) and just tone down the pictures and group some of the random sports together into something like "exotics" (i.e. soccer, tennis, golf, etc.)

and it is a mobile version, not a mobile app...

either way, glad to see betphoenix is trying to keep up with the technology, something many others are NOT doing

I'm trying to load it on my blackberry but it is not working. It is saying "the gateway timed out while waiting for a response from the server"

i loaded the site on droid X perfectly. seems to be running smooth. I just placed my $8 bet . gl everyone

my recommendation is that u need a risk or win choice so that for a bet I dont have to use my phones calculator to calculate if i want to risk 8$.

I too loaded it into my (samsung) droid phone and it worked just fine as far as I can tell. I will forward feedback to the email link as soon as I turn the $8 into $250 by winning and rolling over five consecutive wagers (YEAH!)

Two observations

1) The Betphx mobile app did not seem to respond as readily to my touchscreen scrolling as most every other web page/site does.

I had to poke around for numerous attempts to get the Betphx page to scroll up (or down).

2) Agree with Murph that I (as a smaller $$ player) appreciate being able to choose between Risk/Win on the Wager Amount, as is offered on the main Betphx website.

The problem was I was putting www before the mb Do not do that hehe. I also got my $8.00. Waiting for this weekends football games. It works perfectly on my Blackberry Curve 8530.

Actually because I did not place a bet I did not know about Murph's point. Yea it would be nicer with a risk bullet.

went just now to place my first bet ....... not only did it say I had a "0" balance but when I tried to see the line for the Chicago game it loaded nothing....oh well it was a good idea.....wish it worked
