Here is great way to fix the shutdown of www.tvshack.cc

I love to watch shows on-line and a few weeks ago the US Govt. redirected the adress of www.tvshack.cc to this

well I found a fix on the net and it works!!

I managed to find a workaround for our Government being shitty.
If you want to 1 up the Government here we go.
FIX FOR WINDOWS PC (TESTED)
Open C:\\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts using Notepad
paste the following text at the bottom of the window that pops up, *do not delete its contents!*
...
# TVShack FIX
84.22.98.2 a84-22-98-2.static.tvshack.cc
84.22.98.2 roadrunner.tvshack.cc
84.22.98.3 a84-22-98-3.static.tvshack.cc
84.22.98.3 tvshack.cc
84.22.98.3 http://www.tvshack.cc

The site still get a lot of visits.....yes they update.

Thats why I posted this fix that I found on the net....because the site is so popular

Right-click on the file and select Properties from the menu.
This will bring up a window.
In the Attributes section click on the check mark next to Read Only so that it is no longer there and click on the OK button.
