Well this has been in the works for a while now. First they wanted Franklin to replace him but he ends up at Vandy. Seems like most fans would have rather the Terps have a losing record this year so the buy out would be justified. The team never showed up in big games and i guess it was a time for a change. Ralph did a lot of good work at MD but his conservative play calling over the years i think has caught up with him.
