when you are at a sports bar, what is the best way for a local to recognize your interested in playing...do you ask around and then approach him? any suggestions? thanks

Get to know the bartender. Frequent the bar, ask around.

I don't think i would approach him without the proper introduction, unless he is a complete idiot he wouldn't say he takes action without knowing you.You would be surprised how many undercover people frequent these forum's and Sport's bar's

Ease into a conversation with a patron that is locked into a game, especially if the game is an out of town game.
Slip a " I got a twenty spot riding on the game..." or something like that to 'feel him out'..............

go offshore to a top-rated book. Dont play with a local its to easy to get in over your head.

funny, a sports bar by my house i dont know any bookies who hang there. usually people got action, but i dont know any bookmaker who frequents the place.

well, if he's at a sports bar on game day, look for a dude taking a lot of phone calls and writing shit down, eh?

or maybe checking the internet often, especially as kick-off approaches



back in the day, Hugo used to excuse himself from the Thanksgiving day dinner for a good 15 to 20 minutes. I know now he was managing shit
