Funny how when a team loses in this fashion, the blame is almost always placed on the head coach, but when they win they get no credit. I mean I don't see any threads praising Andy Reid for his great coaching job for the comeback win by Philly. All those threads are about Vick and DJax and what they did to win the game. I have been a true blue Giants fan for over 45 years, but I do not blame Tom Coughlin for this loss. He did his job by preparing his team with a great gameplan and made all the right decisions throughout the game. Executing those decisions was another matter. The defense laid down in the last 8 minutes of the game, so why not blame the defensive coordinator? The special teams gave up an onside kick that led to a TD and then a punt return for TD on the last play of the game, so why not fire the special teams coach?
Despite this devastating loss, the Giants are still a good team and can still make the playoffs with a win next week at Green Bay. But if they lose that game, Coughlin will probably be gone whether he deserves it or not...
