I work in fundraising for a non-profit. On Saturday, a co-worker and I went to a bingo parlor to check things out and try to figure how our organization would be impacted if we bought a bingo session (in CO, the proceeds of the bingo hall have to benefit a charity).
The place was near capacity, which I would suspect was close to 500 or so. The session included six games, and I won two of them for a profit of $300! Not only did I win twice, but I did it having purchased only one card. The majority of the patrons had at least 6 cards lying in front of them. Needless to say, the natives were very restless, and I was a bit nervous walking to my car afterwards.
