A group of 5 teenagers under college age playing hoops in the projects would schoool them ......
pick 5 guys off this forum and give them a couple months to train and they would win going away.
A fair age old question...In recruiting, a staff (male or female coaches) compete for the bigger, stronger, faster athlete. That is how U Conn has been able to dominate. Geno has been a great evauator and salesman. If u Conn played a decent high school team, the shoe would be on the other foot. U conn would be the smaller, weaker, slower group of athletes. Of course Auriemma is a champion for his team's accomplishments and should be. His edge about the lack of respect for their 88 game win streak is contrived, to fit the "inequality card". In the 3rd generation of title IX, it gets a little worn. Girls have had every advantage & more in their athletic programs, at all levels. When was the last time a school dropped a girls program, to comply with the Fed policy. How many females are playing in the NBA or any other major professional sport. The NBA takes a yearly financial WNBA bath, as do schools , in their politically correct effort. Yes, a few have lobbied & tried, only to fall short (Nancy Lieberman etc)....... my & 0.02
whose the tallest or most athletic on there team? they would be undersized against most hs and college age pick up players none of them would be able to drive the lane or beat someone of the dribble for a shot
there entire game would be spot up shooting and considering they seemingly shot from a lower spot then men do, they would have to alter there shots a lot.
They would get beat by 20+ plus to any level of college

You are 100% right. When I was in 9th grade, the Girls' varisty coach would have us scrimmage them and the game wasn't even close. Our girls team was state ranked and our Freshman team was well under .500.
Honestly, I don't think people understand the physical difference.
.
Now, if you had a shooting contest, with women using the WNCAA ball vs NCAA men's shooters, that would be a different story. Much closer.
not a chance, conditioning and execution
A good high school team with decent size and conditioning would be a pick-em. A great HS team with somebody like Terrence Jones would beat them comfortably
