booking, essentially I just fade square plays anyway so it would be pretty close...depending on the clients of course.

Booking bets much more profitable....can't deny the vig.....in the end it is almost the same feeling cause you still end up rooting for one team to cover (especially in the bigger games).

....but I've seen some sharps bust a few bookies and I can't think of anything worse than going busto and not even having made your own picks

Booking is the greatest job in the world. I knew 5 of them in Penna and the only job they did was answer the phone

Both. And only take action from people you are sure will pay if they lose...

Booking, however it is a life not everyone is suited for. How would you like to work 365 day's a year, on Christmas,Thanksgiving and all the other holidays?Sure, you can have helpers but if you want it done right you usually have to do it yourself. Winning is only half the battle, the other half is collecting.

Did it for a time many years ago......Profitable when you could collect....Now I'll gladly book on a post up basis in a second.

Its 2011. Throw away the rice paper and adding machines and you won't work 365 days a year.

Very intrigued by the idea of becoming a ticket writer on nights / weekends.

Just for 20 hours since I would have a 8-3 job as well.

I picked making. Love the challenge of beating a number and getting on the right side.
