Got shitty vodka drunk with a buddy last year about this same time. Was watching the Hangover and buddy said "Lets go to Vegas Dude" I was like "Fuck yeah!!" and we got online and booked the flights still drinking of course. It was about 3 a.m. Booked flight to leave DFW at 11:00 am. Still a drunken mess when we reached the Airport. Stayed a week over Christmas. Good times.
Walked a mile in 30 degree weather to go to a party where I met the current SheBar. Was not even invited, but answered the phone at my brother's place and the people at party were wanting to know why he had not arrived.
I told them I did not know and they said, "you should come up".....and though I did not have a vehicle at the time and it was about 10pm, I made the trek.
Got good mexican food, a nice big phattie and then dragged to community indoor hot tub by the woman who would six years later drag me to the Broward County FL courthouse for nupitals.

Probably a spontaneous trip to Paris in Feb. 2008 with my gf back at that time: Ratatouille was just released on BluRay and while watching the movie at night, I had my best ever day trading NBA on betfair (if I remember correctly, it was WSH playing @CLE with tons of lead changes) ... well, at some point during the movie I just wanted to go to Paris so badly, that I booked flights to Paris for both her and me and we had a great weekend at Hotel de Sers.
Soriano12, strange my most spontaneous is the same, a trip to Paris and Europe after a movie. Was in line to see The Omen in 1976. The girl I was dating was leaving for Paris in the morning. While waiting in line, the couple in front of us was French and she began talking to them. It sounded great and I said so. She asked me why I don´t join her then. I didn´t have a passport. She said it only takes a week. I agreed and that night we made plans to meet under the Arc de Triomphe once I could get there.
Really enjoyed the trip for 1 month, especially a week in Italy. Things were really cheap. Couldn´t afford a month in Europe now so glad I did it.
