Donovan McNabb in the Pro Bowl? Never say never

By Rick Maese
Here's a fun scenario to consider: Quarterback Donovan McNabb isn't expected to see any action in the Redskins' final three games of the season, but is it possible that he'd appear in the Pro Bowl as a quarterback for the NFC?
As we told you earlier, fan voting for the Pro Bowl ended Monday night . The league released the top vote-getters at each position earlier Wednesday, and we've since acquired some more detailed numbers. McNabb finished fifth among the NFC's quarterbacks in the voting with 458,637 votes, well behind Michael Vick, Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers and Matt Ryan.
While only three quarterbacks will represent the NFC on the 43-man roster, it's theoretically possible McNabb could hear his name called. Last year, for example, the AFC went through several quarterbacks on its Pro Bowl roster. Peyton Manning had a Super Bowl to prepare for, Phillip Rivers and Tom Brady pulled out, and Ben Roethlisberger passed. So Matt Schaub started the game and Vince Young and David Garrard came off the bench.
But with the Pro Bowl back in Hawaii this year, it's doubtful as many players will pass on the chance to play.
Teams will be announced Tuesday. Coaches and players are casting their votes this week. The votes of fans, coaches and players each count toward one-third of the final total, so that means despite the fan votes, it's likely the ballots of players and coaches will decide whether McNabb gets a free ticket to Hawaii.
Aside from the injured LaRon Landry several other Redskins finished in the top-five on the fans' ballots.
In the final week of voting, cornerback DeAngelo Hall (295,138 votes) slipped from second to third among cornerbacks, barely trailing Philadelphia's Asante Samuel (299,274) and well behind Green Bay's Charles Woodson (394,330).
Mike Sellers (137,584) was fourth among fullbacks, where New Orleans' Heath Evans (207,936) was the top vote-getter.
At tight end, Chris Cooley (340,077) was second only to Atlanta's Tony Gonzalez (458,527).
Brian Orakpo (466,501) was fourth among outside linebackers, trailing Green Bay's Clay Matthews (466,501) and Dallas' DeMarcus Ware (294,397).
Among inside linebackers, London Fletcher (121,740) was fifth. Chicago's Brian Urlacher (314,584) was first.
Lorenzo Alexander (84,901) was fifth among special teams players, well behind Minnesota's Heath Farwell (162,553).

Like he's really going to take Ryans place or even Eli Manning for that matter! And what about that Vick guy?
