Where do you you find the most value?
First consideration is that Vegas is safer as I've always been paid and no stalling or fees. I like to wager on futures and I get far better odds in Vegas. Of course I know which Books offer great value and which Books are rip offs. As for bonuses, the offshores are the only ones that offer them. However the Vegas Casinos offer a lot of rewards programs. All in all since I live in Las Vegas, i make most of my wagers here. Since I am getting better future odds here in
Vegas, I would have to conclude that the offshores are sharper and that doesn't help me . I love mistakes and I find them almost every week here in Las
Vegas.

offshore charges a smaller commission and has a much larger betting menu. That should answer the question with out any debate

This is not even CLOSE if you are counting global sports market exchanges like betfair. Offshore and it isn't even close.

We're talking value here, so what betting menu are you talking about ? I've been around the offshores probably longer than almost anyone and I've taken some big hits. I've never taken any hits from Nevada and I don't have to wait for getting any withdrawals and there are no fees attached. Safety means a ton to me after getting stiffed quite a few times offshore. I play the 100 + video poker games here in Vegas and I've never seen one online and I don't trust them anyway. I get way better futures here than offshore as I said before so I wager almost all of my
$$ here. When I move back to Oregon, I will have to wager offshore a lot more but I'm still planning on making most of my future wagers in Nevada. To me, it's far better value here in Las Vegas and it's not even close !

may you care to tell what offshorebooks u've been stiffed at?(so you know bettors wud be aware of it) I never saw anyone complain not getting paid but most of their complaints are only delayed on withdrawals and they'll eventually get paid on those. Maybe because most offshore players are long term losers so maybe we dont see that many people do withdrawals. No doubt offshore market is way way bigger than the one in vegas, just go to betfair exchange and a soccer game can have a million bet on each side, go to europe(england) where soccer games has kiosk of bookie. Value wise, pinny is the best bar none.

I also loved Pinny but Pinny is no longer available to us in the United States. I used to love Skybook and their free 1/2 point but that is no longer available. If I take you back to my first stiff joint, it would be Luckys and their 10 or so affiliated joints. Then there was Aces Gold who stiffed almost everyone here. A few years ago it was BOS and their group of 4 or 5 Joints. Royal was one of many Offshores that was simply not honoring requests for payment as they would simply keep stalling and never pay me.
The slow pays and withdrawal fees plus the difficulty in making deposits has turned me off. Also as I said already, I specialize in making future wagers and I almost always find my best odds here in Las Vegas. Of course the fact that I live in Las Vegas makes this a no brainer to me and I'm pretty sure a lot of the posters would feel the same way if they lived here. As to the far bigger betting menu, you couldn't pay me enough $$ to watch a boring soccer game, let alone wager any $$ on one. To each his own as I am aware that the World loves Soccer... I simply don't !

Then I was mistaken. I thought the original question was asking which one was sharper, not which one was a better value
Take another look at RenoChazz original Post. He asks the question " Where do you find the most value ? " Getting stiffed, Paying withdrawals fees and waiting for my funds lessens value to me. Getting smaller odds on my future wagers lessens value to me also. Why would anyone want 15/1 odds if you can get 20/1 and your $$ is 100 % safe. I always get my best futures here in Las Vegas. Playing video poker at less than 100 % payback scales also lessens value to me. You live here in Las Vegas Tom.. Where do you gamble ? I see little value going offshore if you live in Las Vegas !

We had no business getting into Luckys, we were naive back then ! As far as Aces Gold, not only did we make alot of money there, because of offshore VALUE, we got bailed out with the remaining balances from shops such as Cascade. We never lost a dime there. Only shop that we can legitimately say where we lost was the BOS group. That was more criminal then anything else. Sure it takes longer to get funds out, we know that going in without Neteller, but I believe every shop has a free withdrawl every month. Nobody is not getting paid unless your in a D book which you shouldn't be in anyway

Its best to get the best of both worlds, I like the odds you can get there in Vegas, but getting Uconn at 85/1, Kansas at 20/1, Mich st 18/1 etc. wasn't available to me in Vegas

You make it sound like all the value is offshore ! I guess this means you don't want me to keep making any future wagers for you right ?

Post 12 says " its best to get best of both worlds ", what do you think that means ? Post 11 is just explaining the facts

You gave me a list of about 15 teams and the very first book I went to was the Hilton and almost every wager I could beat there and I hadn't even visited any other. You know very well that the odds you just mentioned are not available offshore at this time.

How do I know what the best Las Vegas odds were at the time you made those wagers ? Once in a while you can beat Las Vegas's future odds but most of the time you can't and you know that is true. This thread is about which gives us the best value. Obviously there is no best if you have both. You have both because of me my friend !

Like I said best of both worlds, If I get the best odds in both places whether its 3 teams or 15 teams, I am getting the best value right ? BTW this is a fluid situation, odds change, some of those teams I could have matched with same odds. Bottom line, its best to fish out of two rivers if you can !

You already told me you couldn't get Mich St 18/1, Uconn 85/1, or Kansas at 20/1 !

Untrue ! If one river has more and bigger fish than the other ... You are pretty foolish to fish out of the lesser river ! Why are you trying to spin fishing stories ? You're not big into fishing ! LOL

Your right I am not into fishing but thought that analogy would work for you. So in other words, don't be foolish and don't bet on the better odds on those 3 teams and just stuck with only Vegas odds ! Ok I get it now !
