Pro's and cons. Not too many cons. Used to be high housing prices, but they've been leveled out due to the housing market. Pros, don't need winter clothes or snow tires. No having heart attacks shoveling snow. Planning an outdoor event? 99% of the time you don't have to worry about rain. Lots of others. You can be surfing at 8 am and snow skiing at 1 pm.
lol, lived in OceanSide for a few years and grew up in LA my whole life. Love having all the seasons here in Reno and wouldn't ever want to move back to Socal, I get annoyed overtime I go there to visit friends. I don't miss not the pollution and traffic or the worlds worst drivers. Yeah its about 1.5 hour drive to big bear if leave at at 2am. You probably couldn't make it to Irvine in 1.5 hour during the day.
