Would the Falcons, Eagles, and Pats all on the road be the toughest road to the SuperBowl ever?

Big Saints fan here, and I'm high on the Saints. I do believe we are the best team in the NFC but even I have to admit beating the Falcons, Eagles, and Pats away from New Orleans would be the tallest task I can remember for a team winning the SuperBowl.

Heck, Im not even counting the RAMS/Hawks game into the mix.

I really believe this years Saints is a better team then last years Saints.

But last year it was 1st round bye, Arizona at home, and the Vikings at home.

Thats a big difference.

Too bad the NFL does not force the Rams/Seahawks into being the 6th seed.

Im all for division winners making the playoffs regardless of record. But there really is no reason to allow a 7-9 team have a higher seed then an 12-4 team.

What do you think?

Impossible to argue with that logic.... Saints have any chance of getting a bye?

Only if the Falcons lose to the Panthes

If New orleans plays in Philly the coaching advantage goes to New Orleans no question about it. Being an Eagles fan, New Orleans and Green Bay are the 2 teams i'd rather not see us play.

Should be a fantastic playoffs this year but I do not believe the Saints are the best team in the NFC. I'm either sticking with the Falcons or my Eagles. Granted, when the Saints offense gets rolling they're unstoppable but they can be gotten to with the blitz. Last night showed it.

That said, if Saints and Eagles play, we will need the blitz working and working all game because our secondary will be minced bait for Brees.

I think that all of the teams that made it to the SB had a tougher schedule.

Well the Saints made it to the super bowl last season, and the road to get there last year compared to this season is night and day.

I dont know how you could say that the Saints having a bye last season and playing Arizona at home and the Vikings at home is harder then playing 3 road games. RAMS, FALCONS, and Chicago/Philly. Then play Pats in SuperBowl

I don't think any of those teams are really "great" teams. They couldn't touch any of the Cowboys and 49ers teams from the 90's. They all would get blown out.

its hard to repeat. most teams that win their division fail to repeat the following year. its what makes the nfl so great.

saints have a lot of talent on that team they arent going anywhere for a while....

seattle looked good yesterday. kinda glad they won b/c its a good wakeup call to teams on the bye. i wouldnt take them lightly next week and would automatically be inclined to take if they end up playing atlanta in the dome.
