I agree with you on how much better you can get when you want to be there. Undergrad - solid 3.0, skating more than anything. A's in classes I liked, C's in classes I hated. Fast forward to my MBA program and straight A's - I wanted to be there and do well (wanted like all getout to beat the wife's 3.9 average) and I did. I just wonder what I coulda done with my life had I applied myself from day 1 in High School. Maybe get into an Ivy league school instead of the college I attended - not that the school was bad by any stretch, it's just me wondering where I coulda been applying myself all along.
