On all-ins , be it pre-flop , after the turn , whenever ..

The player with the best hand takes back 60 % of the pot. The other 40 % is played for and paid out as the cards fall.

I am so sick of baiting people to go all-in with marginal hands and clearly way behind , that end up catching miracle cards and getting all the chips.

Their should be a reward before any more cards are dealt to the guy who made the right play ..

I hate getting sucked out on as much as the next guy but this is a retarded idea. It's the nature of the beast.

all right , all right.... i get it.. i just think their needs to be something to protect the better player more than just the odds . ( which seem to hold up a lot less than advertised )

I've got a better idea for Omaha and Omaha H/Lo. I call it "Suicide" as you're allowed to use all 4 hole cards for you hand. I think its a great idea.

That is the reason some places let you "run it twice"

http://www.shuckabuck.com/what-does-run-it-twice-mean/

If you have been playing poker competitively, you realize how crazy it can be. It may seem like you always make the best decision and end up with the worst luck possible. Well, there is something called Running it Twice, in texas holdem cash games. Usually, this is only played in high limit cash games but it can be used in any cash game. It is not Allowed in tournaments.
What is Run it Twice?
Run it twice means to play 2 sets of community cards in the same hand. So if you are against one other player, and one of you is all in, you can make an agreement to run the board twice (or what is left on the board). Running it twice reduces the risk involved in losing a big pot to a lucky draw. So it rewards the good decisions.
Here is an example from High Stake Poker where they run it twice:

Who Wins When You Run it Twice?
If one player wins both hands (both boards), then that player wins the entire pot just as you normally would if it were played the standard way.
If one player wins the first board, and the other player wins the second board, the pot is split between the two players.
It’s as simple as that. Remember, the goal of running the board twice is to reduce the risk.

This could work for cash games, but not for tourney play.
