Bought at $45.00 yesterday....Target price is $51.75 (15%) on the low end and $56.25(25%) on the high end.

I expect a better than anticipated quarterly report for the 4th quarter (Nov to Dec 2010). The numbers for the New Years and Superbowl will help IMO....people spent during Xmas and don't see why this doesn't carry over to the new year...The stock was just at $52.00 on Nov 4th....also Marina Bay Sands will be opening a world's first Art-science museum in February....

This is just my opinion...take it for what its worth.

Singapore casino to launch world's first ArtScience museum

SINGAPORE | Wed Dec 29, 2010 1:56am EST

Reuters Life!) - Singapore's Marina Bay Sands will open the world's first ArtScience museum in February, the latest attraction at its $5.5 billion gambling complex built by U.S. casino giant Las Vegas Sands.
With a form reminiscent of a lotus flower designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie, the science museum is due to open on Feb 17 at 1:18 p.m., "as advised by our feng shui master," a Marina Bay Sands spokeswoman said.
Dubbed "The Welcoming Hand of Singapore" by Las Vegas Sands chairman Sheldon Adelson, the museum hosts 10 "fingers" anchored by a round base in the middle. The design of each finger reveals different gallery spaces featuring skylights at the "fingertips" that illuminate the dramatically curved interior walls.
The building features 21 gallery spaces totaling 50,000 squa`re feet (6,000 square meters) that will deliver exhibits from art and science, media and technology, to design and architecture, the statement said.
The permanent exhibition includes objects representing accomplishments of art and science through the ages, such as Leonardo da Vinci's Flying Machine, a Kongming Lantern and a high-tech robotic fish.
The dish-like roof of the museum allows rainwater to be harvested and channeled down through the center of the structure to the reflecting pond at the lowest level of the building.

Max I been in for a while with an average price of $14.75. The first two weeks of January you should see this sucker take off. I would imagine you will be out by first or second week of February. It's been highly manipulated the last two weeks as the big boys are keeping the price right where they want it so they can show some great profits on it next year. $55 in no time at all as I expect .48 from Q4.

Here's How Las Vegas Sands Makes Money

By Brian Richards | More Articles
December 31, 2010 | Comments (2)

Legendary fund manager Peter Lynch said that you shouldn't invest in any idea you couldn't illustrate with a crayon.
I'm not much for crayons, but I do love the pithiness of that line. It's something we regularly preach at the Fool: Don't buy what you don't understand. And if you can't simply sketch out a company's business model -- how it, you know, actually makes money -- then maybe you shouldn't be investing in it.
Today I'd like to share a very simple visual of how heavily traded gaming stock Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS) makes money. Here's my attempt to encapsulate the company's business model:

If anyone wants to get in below $50 today would be the day. This thing is going to rocket above $50 after Q4 is announced and then the co-op sales are finalized. Paying down debt is going to really accelerate this baby. We should also learn soon about a new IR. Low $60's by May.

Macau Gambling Revenue Surged 66% in December

BY KATE O'KEEFFE AND ALEXANDRA BERZON

Gambling revenue in Macau in December surged 66% from a year earlier, capping a booming year in the Chinese gambling enclave in which revenue from gambling soared 58% as Macau moved farther ahead of Las Vegas as the world's most lucrative gambling center.
The huge gambling-revenue increase came despite the urging of Beijing and Macau officials that the city diversify its economy away from the lucrative casino business and as the government appeared to be trying to tame the industry's growth.
Gambling revenue in December totaled 18.88 billion patacas ($2.36 billion), up sharply from 11.35 billion a year earlier, according ...

Casino Stock Winners: Wynn, Las Vegas Sands

By Jeanine Poggi 01/04/11 - 09:53 AM EST

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Casino behemoths Las Vegas Sands(LVS_) and Wynn Resorts (WYNN_) were upgraded by analysts on Tuesday as international growth opportunities are expected to remain fruitful.
Wynn received a boost from KeyBanc Capital Markets to hold from underweight and raised its earnings estimates. Analyst Dennis Forst said in a note that the casino operator will likely continue to see strength in Macau through 2011.
On Monday, the Chinese gambling enclave reported a 66% surge in gaming revenue in December, and analysts predicted the region could see a record month in January or February.
Forst also noted that Wynn should benefit from its strong balance sheet.
He now foresees Wynn earning 74 cents a share in the fourth quarter, from prior outlook of 52 cents. For the full year, Forst is calling for a profit of $1.92 from $1.69 a share, and for fiscal 2011 is looking for earnings of $2.67. He previously estimated a profit of $2.39 a share.
Separately, Sterne Agee analyst David Bain reiterated his buy rating on Las Vegas Sands and lifted his estimates and price target.
Las Vegas Sands ended the trading day on Monday down nearly 1%, despite strong numbers out of Macau.
"We believe the underperformance was due to concerns on Singapore earnings, as well as somewhat softer-than-average market share performance in Macau," Bain wrote in a note. "We do not agree with the view that earnings from Singapore will be soft in the fourth quarter of 2010 and believe the December market numbers in Macau should more than outweigh what we consider to be relatively small, monthly market share data slightly below the company's average."
Bain says he is bullish on the stock due to its Macau pipeline and untapped Singapore potential. He upped his price target on the stock to $53 from $50.
