Mo Williams - G - Cavaliers

The Cavaliers will play without Mo Williams (strained left hip flexor) and Daniel Gibson (left thigh contusion) on Saturday.
Cleveland faces the Bulls without their starting backcourt or center Anderson Varejao, and this isn't likely to be pretty. In their absence, coach Byron Scott is starting Manny Harris, Ramon Sessions, and Leon Powe. Both Williams and Gibson remain day-to-day. Jan. 1 - 6:47 p.m. ET

Jonny Flynn - G - Timberwolves

Jonny Flynn won't play on Saturday due to a sprained right ankle.
Flynn will test it in practice on Sunday and is listed as day-to-day. He has failed to wrest the starting job from Luke Ridnour, and with Ricky Rubio inbound next season it's no surprise that he's been mentioned in trade rumors. Jan. 1 - 6:40 p.m. ET

Josh Howard - G/F - Wizards

Josh Howard won't play on Saturday as he recovers from soreness in his left knee.
Howard pulled himself out of Friday's game and has no reason to push himself after returning from major knee surgery just a few weeks ago. Howard has displaced Al Thornton in the lineup Jan. 1 - 6:32 p.m. ET
