Baylor played them well & quite frankly should have won the game albeit they were short handed. Plus they have the most impressive resume so far in terms of quality wins with double digit wins over #11 Michigan State (25 at the time) by 26, #11 Notre Dame (13) by 11, #5 Tennessee (6) by 11, and #23 Syracuse (same) by 34!
Quite frankly the team that has a beef is Stanford who is behind Connecticut even after dominating them from start to finish. Connecticut was done the minute the ball went in the air. The only reason they are not higher is because they lost twice, a respectable loss to the Lady Vols & a completely surprising loss to DePaul. After those two losses, they have been unbeatable & would be favored over anyone in the country tomorrow with how they are playing after beating 2 top 5 teams by a combined 49 points.
If Connecticut is still your choice to win it all, getting them at -180 is an extremely cheap price to win it all. As if they get it going as most expect, that price will float back up over -300 again.
