went to withdraw 400 bucks but it only spit out 140....400 bucks taken off my card....figuring the bank at the atm i used will be my first stop in the morning, got this feeling it's not going to be as easy as showing a reciept from the atm that says partial dispense.....anybody know what i'm in for? hate to be dipping out on my 2nd day at the new workplace, but don't want to leave my $260 in limbo too long
maintenance.....work study.....was hoping to get a gig through the va this semester to hopefully make some contacts on that side of things but have classes 5 days a week again and the nearest place they can send me is 45 miles away....think they're gonna hook me up this summer though
sorry ass bank.....shouldn't be an issue getting my money back but i bet they make me wait a few days to do whatever bullshit they've gotta do while i try to stretch $7.49.....although it may give me an opportunity to try my first withdrawal at a new book if it looks like it may take awhile, see if they can come through for me in the clutch

Sooner this happens more times then you will believe. It happened to me about 12 years ago. I went to the ATM right around Christmas season time and withdrew $200. The ATM didn't spit anything out but on my receipt it said I did. I needed the money though so I went to another ATM that same night and got the $200 I needed. When I called the bank and told them what happened they said they will do a count in the morning and had me fill out an affidavit. I told them to check the cameras on the ATM and you can clearly see no money came out. They told me the cameras on the ATM's only view what is happening behind the person at the ATM in case a robbery takes place or something. I ended up getting my money back no problem because the transaction count was off. They even adjusted my funds to reflect the right dollar amount in my account pending their investigation as some people live check to check.
Just make sure you call the bank right now and tell them what happened. Who knows after 12 years since this happened to me they may have installed survilance to pick up hand movement in front of the machine for transaction errors and disputes. I am sure everything will work out for you.
