Leave it to Las Vegas to come up with a unique way for visitors to remember their trip to "Sin City" with the purchase of a gold bar from a vending machine.
The Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in old town Las Vegas has become just the second place to operate one of these unique vending machines.
The GOLD to go® vending machine offers visitors the option to purchase either a one gram or one ounce gold bar. The price on these gold bars change every few minutes to the adjusted national price but can be purchased for around $60 for the one gram bar.
If you happen to have the cash or win big, you can buy a one ounce bar for around $1,400.
The Golden Nugget is also known for holding the largest gold nugget in the world. The displayed nugget is from Australia and valued at over $1-M.

If anyone happens to be passing thru China you can find 1 on virtually every corner in the rich cities.....pretty good deal for us i guess. We give away our gold to pay the Federal Reserves ficticious debt when its less than 900 an oz and then we buy it back from the Euro Banks they gave it too for over 1500 an oz. Should help stimulate the economy.

I think the grams are overpriced. An ounce is 31.1 grams, so that's about $1866 per ounce. I think these ( too small) gram bars won't be an easy sale for 25% + over spot.

the closer you get to 1oz form the more closer you get to the going actual rate. a gram of gold is $60-64, where it really should be 45ish
