Looks like Les Miles will at least talk to Michigan...If he goes the 2 names coming up are Bobby Petrino and Jon Gruden. Gruden was actually a candidate when Miles was hired.

Tough choice...

I dont think Gruden would succeed in college. I think the limitations on practice would drive him crazy, plus he falls in and out of love with his qbs way too fast.

Well LSU says no one has contacted them fromMich......but i doubt that means much. There was a rumor that a Michigan plane was at the local airport yesterday....thats been debunked. Only thing i dont get is u hear nothing from Michigan as to their search. Its pretty much a given that Brady Hoyt is their man if Miles doesnt go and if there is no chance Miles is going why hasnt Hoyt been named yet or even brought in for an interview?. Mu guess is they are working through Miles agent while Miles talks to his family. He has a kid whos a senior this year and may not want to leave. He has a top 5 ranked team preseason next year, his defensive cooridinator just turned down more money to go to Texas....even a local Running back prospect just changed his commitment from Texas to LSU on Saturday......hard to think he did that without Miles himself involved in it. Im beginning to think hes not going...

And it all changes back again.....

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - The waiting game continues for LSU football fans. Many are anticipating Michigan will make its pitch to alum Les Miles and university officials expect something might happen in the next 24-48 hours.

For the second time in three days, a Lear twin-engine jet with Michigan's maize and blue colors landed at Baton Rouge Metro Airport. It landed early Saturday afternoon. It's not clear whether there were athletic department officials aboard or just representatives of Miles' alma mater, maybe a former teammate or friend.

The same plane landed in Baton Rouge Friday morning and took off about two hours later. Sources said Miles spent the day with family and has told his players he is staying at LSU, but does have a pre-scheduled trip back to Dallas coming up Tuesday for the American Football Coaches Association, where he is one of the headline speakers.
