On Showtime's Inside the NFL, Phil Simms said that Brett Favre was the best THROWER of the football of all time. Didn't say he was best QB or that he always made good decisions but was the best thrower. Pretty good compliment coming from a guy who should know. He said if you took 20 ex-NFL QBs it would be overwhelming among them that he had the most natural ability of all time in throwing the football. I just thought it was a pretty good compliment.

Yeah I saw that. Interesting debate. Some of Peyton's passes are pretty dam accurate...if we are talking about throwing/accuracy. Not to mention Marino too.

DREW BREES impresses the hell out of me...............and ROGERS isn't to shabby either.

In fact, think both of these guys throw a better deep ball than FAVRE, but there is no disputing FAVRE's throwing ability.

Favre may have been the best thrower of the football. The problem was who was going to catch it.
