Do the majority of you guys hide your gambling from your spouse by having a separate checking account or do you have a joint account?

she knows...and she even tells me what to bet, then I yell at her for giving me losers.

I'm totally open about my gambling. She can tell by my mood whether I've won or lost. Only problem is, when I hit a Royal Flush playing video poker, she demands some of my profits.

Yup. I am wide open about my gambling. We both have personal money - she spends hers on clothes, shoes, manicures, etc. and I spend mine on gambling. Seems to be working perfectly fine so far.

I cant understand why you guys actually play that video poker?? unless you drop a 20 or so just for amusement because its a computer thats set for you to lose...people drop 1000's in a machine hoping to win but its set to give you 40 for every 100 at best!!! some are set lower than 30 and when you do hit something you dont cash out and let it ride as if you're going to hit big!!!! a friend of mine owns a lot of machines in bars across the city and he makes a ton of cash, just 1 machine covers the rent of a bar/cafe for a month easily.
