i actually bought 4 at the same time with my own money while visiting grandparents in Germany in 1979...

Molly Hatchett Flirtin' With Disaster

Styx Cornerstone (i remember my dad reading lyrics to "borrowed time" and laughing)

Queen News Of The World

Boston Don't Look Back

Many 100's albums later,i still remember these...as a 14 year old lad ready for the prime of his life...

Cassette tape: Guns N Roses Use Your Illusion II, for $3 used beginning of 1993
CD: Red Hot Chili Peppers Blood Sugar Sex Magik toward the end of 1993, new it was $14.50 plus tax

still think both are some of the best music ever recorded. And so much better than the Little Mermaid soundtrack my sister would not stop listening to

Billy Joel's Glass Houses in 1980. Hard to believe that was 30 years ago.

i remember that one....we must be about the same age

we built this city......ahhhhhh......we built this city.......ahhhhhh

I thought it was great at the time, rocked it out everyday. Used to dream about slow dancing to Sara, with Kate who was in my class. I never talked to her of course.

Good question.

I vividly remember as a preteen buying my very 1st 45rpm.

Who? 1st one ......

I played the shit out of this almost 24/7!

My first album? Same time period as a preteen.

I played the title track ad infinitum.

Suffice to say, playing these 2 songs on what seemed to be a continuous loop drove my parents nuts! :lolBIG:
