married for 66 years and dieing just a few days short of Christmas....

Frank lives 2 doors from me....found out Marie died just today from another neighbor.

Are a card or flowers appropriate ? His son also lives here ( like 59 unit condo complex) .

Kind of too late ?

I got the info from the treasurer's Husband while dealing with snow .

I'd sort of like to acknowledge Marie's passing to 89 year old Frank in some fashion.

any suggestions ?

Frank still has his mind, bought a brand new car a couple of months ago, still drives at 89. I could deal with his son, but I'm closer to Frank, Literally.

I hired his son like 15 years ago to appraise a property for me, just a coincedence.

I'll certainly have to tell Frank I'm sorry about his wife passing and such, next time I see him in passing...This old guy is pretty cool....uses a computer, drives at 89, WW2 Navy veteran, etc.

Pretty cool dude, still drives at 89....and has a brand new car ( Chevy).

I used to almost " tailgate" ( on my f-150) with frank The ww2 Navy veteran and this other Vietnam veteran named Bill Lee. We sit on my tailgate and talk....the Vietnam guy ( Bill Lee) moved to NC, the WW2 guy ( Frank ) is 89 now....good talks with the ww2 guy and vietnam guy

That was really cool, a Vietnam vet and a WW2 vet sitting on my tailgate of an F-150,and we drink a Budweiser together.....

not too late....cliche as it sounds it is the thought that counts....it isn't your fault that you didn't know....i'm sure they will be thankful for any support...card, flowers, a talk, some food, etc.

so who lives with Frank.....raymond or robert?
