So the wife and I decide to go to the diner for breakfast, I order corned beef hash and eggs, scrambled, extra potatoes, rye bread toast.

Know what I got?

Corned beef hash and eggs, scrambled, extra potatoes, rye bread toast.

Usually I wind up with white toast, or the eggs are over easy, or normal portion, not extra potatoes, something is usually mucked up.

Go figure, the cook and the waitress going 2 for 2.

:howdy:

It is my favorite breakfast.
But she wrote it down, perfect dining experience for a change.
Still full.

we serve CBH at the restaurant i manage and it's one of the few places around that still have it...we sell a ton of it, not sure why other places don't have it...but not as many do as used to...i dont like it myself, but it sells

If your favorite place struggles so much to even get your order right, how bad are the places you find mediocre?

That's a ton of food.

Depends how many eggs and "extra potatoes" means

One dozen eggs, two pounds potatoes and corned beef on the stove at home would have been the correct choice for someone who truly liked the meal as something to eat, not merely fulfilling some biological need

Probably costs less than a 20% tip at most restaurants

6.95, before tip.
I do usually cook it myself at home, but it's nice to go out out every now and then.

My neighbor owns a little Greek place in town that is awesome!! 2 eggs sausage home fries and toast still for only $2.99 between certain hours. Not even worth the trouble to make it at home. I love going out for breakfast.
