Bears vs Packers Line?

Thoughts on this one. I am quite interested in what everyone thinks on this. I have a decent amount on Bears to win NFC so am trying to decide if I want to take Packers to win NFC or wait to see what line I can get on the Pack ML vs the Bears.

I think Packers will be favored by 2 or 3 against the Bears and a -140 to -150 ML.

It also depends how the Bears play.

The Packers look like world beaters right now. -3.5 is not out of the question.

I'm in the same position and I'm pretty sure the Pack will be favored and that's not what I want. Anything close and I'm covering big time. I simply was wrong on this Packer team and I'm willing to admit it. Does anyone in Green Bay still think that management made a huge mistake when the Pack left Favre go so they could keep Rogers ? I've been a Packer fan for years and here I sit with one tiny 15/1 on the Pack which doesn't cover the $$ I've already invested in NFL futures. I think the Pack will be - 135 right now but of course it all depends on whether Cutler and the Bears look impressive or simply stumble home. Of course first the Bears must beat the Seahawks or We will have a huge favorite in GB/Seattle. I shutter to even think of the possibility of trying to cover that one !

Kermit, sounds like you are in a situation similar to mine. I had some Packers futures but got off it when they were tight with the Bears to even make it in to the Playoffs. Wish I had that money back. Now I have a small amount of Seattle money at great odds to win NFC and SBowl and a good chunk of change on Bears to win NFC. Could have had Packers to win NFC at -158 this morning at Matchbook and I went and checked a couple of things and it was gone. Now I gotta hope someone will match my Packers -160 to win NFC or hope the Bears look very impressive against Seattle today or hedging is gonna be difficult for me and the way things are going I like the Pack to come out of the NFC.

Packers at - 158 is not what I want to hear. Of course if Seattle wins today, We would wish We were loading up on it. Sometimes I simply scratch my head and say " Why didn't I do this ? " .

When you are betting futures, a loss by 40 or by 1 are exactly the same. I'd much rather lose by 40 because it just doesn't hurt as much. I'm usually playing video poker or drinking long before the final outcome !:lolBIG:

They aren't exactly the same if you have teasers tied in with opposite team !

Teasers have litterly saved my ass the last 3 weeks. With Baltimore out, I actually now am rooting for NE to cover the 2 points I have on my live ones today. Unless of course live betting gets interesting

This Bears performance is certainly helping our cause so far. Hope to see them keep this up. Pack to win NFC is now down to -150. With the way the Bears are going so far, I think I will wait on that. Should be less of a ML in the Pack vs Bears matchup.

Yes, it's still very early though so I'm not beating my chest yet saying " I told you so " . I've got the over also so I do need some help there from the seahawks.
