I know I've written about this guy before. If you seen my previous threads on this guy you know I thnk he's terrible.

Since week 13, he turned into the official Tom Brady cheerleader. His nose is so far up Brady's jockstrap he could tell you what Tommy had for breakfast. He speaks so highly about Brady and Belichick. How their cerebral, high IQ, and intelligent. It's the reason they win games. When the Pats plastered the Jets in the 2nd game he talked about why the Pats are who they are and why the Jets are nothing more than a bunch of thugs and brainless punks and were exposed for the frauds he always knew they were.

Whenever he debates callers about why other QB's and teams down stand up to the Pats he speaks as if New England is holyer than thou.

Can't wait till tomorrow morning. I'll be on the road all morning because of work so I'm anxious to hear what he has to say.

i dont know why you think he is "terrible". i think he has a pretty good show. so he thinks highly of the "patriot way" big deal. im sure he will give a shout out to the jets and the pack and give'em both the props they deserve.

I like Colins show. The only one I'd rather listen to is Kesulious as he really knows his stuff. Both have betting knowledge and aren't afraid to share it with the audience.

fishhead,He was off today as Doug Gotlieb was doing his show today

I turned to check today and he was on tv. Talking about how people are all going to overreact to the wins and losses. He called the patriots "human."

To be honest, he isn't knowledgeable, he is only informed about the most important teams and players. Yankees and Red Sox in baseball or he won't even bring the sport up. No knowledge of Coll Hoops and downgrades it completely as a meaningful regular season, mostly because he doesn't know the teams or the players and doesn't want to talk about it. College football is about it as far as knowledge is concerned.

Sounds like most espn employees.

his show started a half hour earlier today. like someone said, he called them human and still would pick brady and belichek before any other coach and qb in the league...gave some prop's to the packers and jets. said he miight pick against gb next week, saying that rogers, in the past after playing a good game, has had alot of let down games to follow.

He is good for some off topic stuff here n there... But this guy knows nothing about sports! He doesnt even have a favorite team in any sport... this to me seems odd as he is a sports talk host! he is an idiot when it comes to most sports related topics... and yes all he covers is the main stream media stuff, he never digs into something that is not a headline to comment on! he would be hard pressed to tell you anything about college basketball, hockey, or even college football if it is outside usc, bama, osu or oklahoma... he listens to most of the other idiots in sports media and rolls with that....

take for example a few threas talking about great qb's on the rx now! ppl always compare stupid stats as to who is great! the number of superbowls doesnt determine great by all means... teams win superbowls, not specific players! who is better aikman or favre! aikman won 3 superbowls! great now lets look at all the surrounding circumstances, is aikman better than favre if he played with packers, and is favre better if he played with dallas with the so called studs on that team! is it based on stats, if so aikman is complete mush in the category of great qb's... i think he threw 20 td's once in his career!!!

cowherd would base his top 5 qb's this way, just as media has lead to believe this is the case.... montana, marino, unitas, brady, aikman!

cowherd will now suck off big ben and the steelers!

He doesn't listen to other sports media......How can you even think that????? This guy comes with his own shit and that is why he started out at some local shit radio station and is now on ESPN. You don't make 6 digits by ripping off or copying other commentators. He show is more about life and how sports are a part of life. The guy is a genius!

I'm going to wager you're 20 years old or less. Cowherd a genius? He's an empty talking head.

Yesterday, March 22nd, ESPN Radio hack, uh, host, Colin Cowherd, did one of our most popular bits on the air verbatim, the M Zone Wonderlic Test, without giving the M Zone any credit whatsoever. To set the stage, Cowherd was talking about Vince Young's Wonderlic score and said maybe he had been too hard on Vince. He said he got a copy of the Wonderlic test off the Internet and asked his listeners to call in to see if they could answer some of the questions.

CowherdItSomewhereElseFirst then proceeded to rattle off not one, not two, not three but EIGHT - 8! - of our questions on the air to the delight of his staff and listeners but with nary a word of credit to those of us who wrote the stuff in the first place.

Think we're exaggerating? Below is the material in question followed by the clip from CowherdItSomewhereElseFirst's show. You be the judge:

very well put.he was killing me today. he said that he went o-4 w his pick's last weekend, dissed billy walters, then said that if he could take all of his money to his name that he would put it all on the packers to beat chi this wknd and he could see them winning the sb. all this ATER HE JUST PICKED THEM TO LOSE TO ATL last wknd..lmfao at this clown....he just screwed all of the packer backers....lol....he also said that he just didn't like the packers, but that he ABSOLUTLY LOVED THEM THIS WKND....gb 33 chi 17...lmao...also said that they are going to destroy the bears. i wonder what he is going to say if the bears end up winning the gm????lol

Just because he picked ATL to win, doesn't mean he can't change his mind for the next game. Seems logical to me. Suppose you liked NE to beat the Jets, but now you see something about the Jets that makes you like them over the Steelers. Doesn't mean you can't change your mind. It's called handicapping!

Yea but it seems he was confident in GB not being very good and now after 1 game his opinion has totally shifted on them. I understand people coming around on a team but never that quickly. Cowherd is a loser tho. When the redskins made the playoffs like 6 years ago or h/e long it was he claimed he would walk from New York to DC if the Skins made the playoffs and then never followed thru after consistently bashing the team. Most radio hosts are idiots tho anyway

And it seems as if Cowherd has continuously criticized Aaron Rodgers and all of the sudden expects his team to have a dominant playoff win? Backtracking like a mug

“The great Aaron Rodgers, the guy I’ve been lectured on for 5 years as the next Tom Brady, and now we’re 1 week away from one-and-done for him. Again.” – Cowherd, January 2nd 2010.

This morning , he said he doesn't gamble to much , maybe 6 times a year and he rambled off some of his winners, Boise St. Alabama, and Auburn. Well ,he went on to say that this weekend was time to load up on the Packers Heavy.

I like his show , he gets some good guests but he is not a good gambler.
