lets you look in states to see if you are owed money, maybe from credit balances with companies, forgetting to close bank accounts, missing a paycheck etc. just click the state, search your name and see if anything matches your previous residence.

My mom is owed over $250 in the state of Tennessee and its hers upon clamming.

also worth checking your parents if they are possibly deceased, as you can make a claim as next of kin. I know my dads brother did this a few years back and their father had an insurance policy none of the sons knew about that was worth around $10-15k

I used this site and received 3 checks totaling over $300. I only remember one of them and the other two I'm certain were from someone else with the same name. If you have a common name, there could be a nice little chunk waiting for you...assuming one or your namesakes didn't get it first.

I ran all my family. I've got quite a few deceased grandparents with balances owed.

The really interesting one was my grandma's brother who is owed by a LIFE INSURANCE company.

I wonder if I could stake a claim on that since his son is dead?

Still haven't heard back from them.
