LED TV"s

My tv in the bedroom has a bunch of dead pixels , so went into futureshop today and they had this LED on display , I have been looking at them since they came out and had been impressed by reviews and what some people had to say.

Its on sale right now for 999.99 reg 1299.99 , just wondering if any of you guys have purchased one and any issues / complaints about them. This is the model

Cant believe how thin they are , the whole tv is 1.1 "

Had a Samsung LED from their 2009 line-up and really liked it. I do think the models that are back-lit (instead of the ultra-thin edge-lit) do have a better picture, but it's a small complaint.

Thanks celt , 183 pages of tv talk was a lot , i made it to page 20 before i realized i have no clue what these guys are talking about. Im going to buy it tomorrow and if i dont like it ill take it off the wall and switch it for something else .. The apps thing seems neat, almost like its a 40" computer on my wall that I watch tv on .

Well i bought it , the mount took awhile to get up (Full motion) and its definetly a lot sharper then my old plasma and LCD. Very pleased with it. I almost want to move the surround to the bedroom now haha
