i've been wrestling with this one.....my answer is a RESOUNDING no at this time....i have gotten better at being compulsive and throwing down a bet without any insight just to have action, and i've gotten better at betting smaller.....still got some work to do though, but it's supposed to be enjoyable, so not gonna beat myself up too bad if i find myself betting on the cornell women's team for some ungodly reason.....i am making strides though, thank god for internet porn and intermediate algebra
When college football leaves town, I only bet one game a day with college or NBA basketball. I look for what I think is the best play of the day, and I bet it. There may be days where I might possibly have two good games on the board that I feel confident about. But there are also some days I don't get a good vibe off of any game, and skip it all together. So I just pick my spots. It's worked out pretty well for me for many years dating back to when I had my own bookie.. I wish I was this disciplined betting college football. By the way I like the Atlanta Hawks (+3) today.
College Basketball is what makes me go game crazy. I want to have some action on all of the starting times. I could be up 10 units but as long there is still some 8-11pm start time games left I feel the need to get in some of the action even if my bets are small. Next thing I know by the end of the night I am only up 2 units.
With that said when I am having a bad day and are chasing to just break even I could wind up closing the night out down 10 units. I need to correct that in my plays. Why should a positive day be only up 2 units and a negative day be down 10 units. If a bad day was only losing 2 units then I could live with that.
