I don't know why so many people buy points.....its a big waste of money and in the long run it costs you big...
almost never do it, maybe twice a year.

seems like i've seen solid posters say they do....just don't remember the exact reasoning.....i'm thinking if you do, it's best to do it every time instead of picking and choosing.....

I never do it, If I don't like the number, I'll wait for another one I like

The cost is almost never worth the return. JMHO However I sure do use teasers to get the best of key numbers and I think that is the main secret of betting teasers.

With teasers (if you play around with them), I think it is important to buy the half to get it off the full number (Going from say 10 to 10 1/2)

Pushes lose on a tease, and it is only juice if it loses. If that sucker lands on 10 on it is a loss, it would not be good considering at 10 1/ 2 it would have been + money.

Just my humble opinion.

Never buy or sell points.

Find the book that has the extra half-point you need using a free lines feed.

Depends upon the Book as far as Teasers lose on pushes. I almost always find a Book where ties win. There are quite a few here in Vegas where ties win.

Exactly, I've done it once in the last five years, turned out I didn't need it.
The juice you lay on will kill your bankroll, games with lines of 3 or 7 don't usually land on 3 or 7.
Do the math, I did, buying off key numbers is a bad bet, like buying insurance in BJ at the casino.
