Locals?

Anyone know of a way to find a new Local in your area. Is it all word of mouth. I have been using the same one here locally for nearly 3 years. He has gone to shit. Anyone have any idea of how I can find one in my area. Or any references to any?

The only way I ever found one was from someone else that I trust. I would guess, and this is a guess, that hanging out in sports bars might lead you to people who deal with one, which might then lead you to the local.

Some of the bigger (and better?) sportsbooks have agents who act as a kind of local. I cannot say if this is good or not. And I am not certain how to find these agents. I am guessing that the sportsbook will claim that they don't do this.
