The guys who get kicked out SAY that it's for winning.

Try ONLY making bets on slow moving lines for a week and you will get kicked out even if you lose.

I know of an RX'er who got kicked out the Greek for chasing steam ...

... and if you get kicked out of the Greek, you know it's not for winning.

wow that's tough to do since they're usually one of the books creating the steam in the first place

Beat the closers consistently at Bet Ed for about 3 weeks three years ago at 100-200 a pop.

One day I logged in, my max bet was $25.

I closed my account.

Please explain. TY.
A lot of sharps are aloud to bet at the Greek so when they move a line other books follow, it's called air moves. Even the books here in Reno will move on no money if the Greek or Pinny make a big move, some books will even move higher than the greek or pinny in anticipation which causes other books to move higher. The trick is to find a weak book that's late to the dance and hit them. Chasing steam is hard to do at books like the Greek and Pinny IMO

Beating the closing line is how the books find sharps. I've heard of guys getting banned even though they lost money because they were beating the closing line and the books knew it was only a matter of time

Beating the closer has been almost impossible for me to do anymore in college hoops, the last year or too.

Will The Greek ever move their numbers if another book gets hit and moves their numbers 1-2 points? Ive tried to watch this but havent noticed it often, and if they do it seems they may only move their # 0.5 or so.

Sometimes they'll just juice it a bit. The M in vegas claims that they never make air moves and that they don't ban players for chasing steam. They don't even call it a sports book, they call it a sports exchange. Great place for sharp bettors

mirage?

OK, who is sharper then in your opinion? Greek or Pinnacle? For example....Wazzu game tonight....Greek has 151 & Pinny at 152. Most other books at 152 as well yet Greek holds at 151.

Not the Mirage. It's a casino Called The M Resort, and they sometimes post their lines before piney and the Greek, and they have ingame betting, they're the future of Vegas sportbooks. A company called Cantor does their lines and a few more Vegas Casino are letting them take over their books, like the Hard Rock I think. I wish they'd open a book up here. Hard to say between Pinny and the Greek. Who ever's got the bigger hold has probably got the sharper line. Too bad they don't give that info out, that I know of.

there are plenty of guys that win & win big on a very consistent basis at the rx...

i think the better question is...Which books will boot winners quicker than others? & what books are not scared of losing 10-20 dimes to a player..

10-20 dimes isn't that much in reality. It's not something that should be breaking a book.
