i was unaware that the cavs have now lost 20 straight games.
with lebron they were a championship contender, number 1 seed in the east.

without him they are by far the worst team in the league.

its incredible to see how much difference he makes.

i know lebron is a great player, hof etc, but i still thought the cavs could win at least 30 games.

they wont even win 15 the way they are going.

Call me when he wins something more important than a regular season game. So a team wins 15 more regular season games. What does that get you? A smiley faced sticker?

FUCK Lebron. He and Scottie Pippen are the ONLY stars that have quit on a team in a playoff game ... in any sport. EVER.

Stars win championships.

Want more valuable than Lebron? Mariano Rivera. Schilling. Brady. Montana. MJ. Kobe. Russell. Hakeem. Duncan. Messier. Gretzky. Brodeur.

Forget the list. Even Edgar Renteria has done more than him.

I think Peyton Manning leaving the Colts would be similar. Not only has he played with so many different cast of characters, but we all know he is the true offensive coach of this team. If he left the Colts would fall tremendously.

I finally got to see him play in person yesterday when Miami played my OKC Thunder. Offensively, I wasn't all that impressed. Although much of it had to do with Lebron having a much better supporting cast now, so he didn't have to be a one man team. Dwayne Wade is the player who ended up killing us. Lebron did look pretty decent on defense.

The MVP would either be from the NBA or Baseball, two sports where one player can run the show. Football and Hockey you need everyone clicking like a machine.

i hate to agree but they argued this on PTI last week and you dont go from wining 60 games to losing 20+ in a row unless something catastrophic happens....lebron leaving

the guy is the mvp of the regular season, kinda like brady winning it this year, they didnt make the SB but he was w/o question the mvp of the regular season....

its really amazing to see them fall this far this fast w/o 1 player...

The MVP means jackshit to me.

It rewards performance in the REGULAR SEASON. Who cares if a team wins 50 games and gets bounced in the first round?

Think New England Pats fan says 2007 was a better year than 2001 because they went 16-0?

The playoffs matter, but leagues have to sell regular season tickets ... so losers like Lebron think they're champs.

If Lebron wins a championship, he's valuable. Nuff said.

The Cavs were about a 500 team before a slew of injuries... and quitting...

They over-achieved for ~ 15 games, then the injuries. Varejao, Mo Williams, Daniel Gibson.

But even before the injuries, they were probably a 25-win team.

What's funny, their Assistant GM (Lance Blanks) is now the GM for Phoenix.

Blanks was Assistant GM for 5 years @ Cleveland. What exactly did Cleveland's front-office accomplish during those 5 years? You know, other than losing LeBron?

The entire state of Ohio hit rock bottom when Lebron left. I mean lets face it, what else would you go there to do other than watch a Cavs game when Lebron was there?

How bout the Bronze Medal at the 04 Olympics? First time US pro's didn't win it all. Good job, King James (I can't stand that he refers to himself as King James). Congrats on Lebronze medal.

Couldn't disagree more with Cincy. For some reason he is confusing team sports like basketball with individual sports like tennis. You can easily be the most valuable player and the best player EVER without ever winning a championship in the major teams sports. Basing greatness on just winning is a complete joke and left for those totally clueless about sports. I guess is your opinion a guy like Horace Grant would be a much better player then Karl Malone or Charles Barkley since they both played the same position yet Grant was a championship multiple times yet the others never won any. Not really a Lebron fan. But you can't deny he is the single most valuable players in pro sports.

Ok ... I am dumb when it comes to sports. Whatever. I just believe that in basketball you're not one of the best players unless you win a championship. That's the baseline ... after that, we'll look at other credentials. Horace Grant won a championship ... he gets looked at, then dismissed. Barkley didn't win jack. He doesn't get to file an application. Get it?

The championship is like a Ph.D. .... you're not one of the best just because you have a doctorate, but if you don't have a doctorate, you don't even enter the conversation.

For me, a championship is what sports is about. For you, it's stats and numbers ... so I am dumb and you're a loser. That;s where we differ.
