Never has happened before .......

BAS,

Sorry, but I couldn't pass this up.

Really, the Super Bowl has never gone to overtime? I didn't know that. What is next, you are going to tell me that the Lakers have made the NBA Finals in David Stern's tenure once or twice.

if the price is right i'll play the no. used to only have to lay -700
to -900 on this prop with the favorite favored by around a touchdown
or more. the price right now is low double digits in a pickem game.
i'll wait for it to drop into a more attractive lay or else i'll pass.

great answer

ttt has a point with 2 pt conv increasing the %s of OT.....but I am in no position to try and break a streak that has been going since the beginning of time......

You read my mind BAS

I was going to create a thread today asking that if there were ever to be a Super Bowl in recent memory that you thought could possibly go into overtime, wouldn't it be this one?

And with the new playoff OT rules in effect and no OT playoff games so far, how ironic would that be?

the public will always play and influence any prop with great plus vig
and there aren't enough psycho bridge jumpers who are willing to lay big odds
to win a little to offset the public in the super bowl. the linemakers
know this and set all of the big +vig props too low and they still end
up with too much on them. this creates opportunities for those
can handle the fluctuations of laying large juice. the best opportunities
come close to game time. so take your plus vig early or lay your
big vig late. hope this helps.

that would be a much better play if the total was lower and/or if
the weather was likely to affect the game; especially the kicking
and passing games.
