the annual RX exclusive .... trytrytry National Anthem over under prop



set this every year 7th year in a row exclusive for the RX.com. i actually invented this wager about 9 years ago..used to call the sports books and give them my line and they actually started posting this as a prop. Have EMAILed a few earlier in the week and I see some things posted already.

Juice free for our party but feel free to collect your
-105 or -110

Sportsbooks world wide have actually taken my line and adjusted this and posted it as a prop wager!


I set the line and almost everyone plays it. Its fun and gets thing going. I do much research on this have extensive past records and try to set a solid line.

Warning, people tend to play the under, they can not imagine a song taking this long so you will get under action.

What also will happen is after you give the line a few people will leave the room, go "get a smoke", grab something from the car, most often "go to the bathroom". What they are really doing is singing the anthem in their heads watching a clock. They usually sing it this way in 1 min 20 seconds or so even if they think they are going slowly. so real singers do not race through this song.

Anyway here it is, you will find it here only at the Rx.

1 minute 55 seconds (at a new party Id go with 1 minute 50 seconds as you will get flooded with under money).



(the stopwatch starts when the singer starts her first note, not background music. The stopwatch stops with the singer ends the final note, not music, fireworks, airplanes, etc.). Good Luck guys and gals.

Is there a site that will post the official time so you don't get into an argument if it is within a couple of seconds either way?

im the official timekeeper and I TIVO it to be exact..

so are you going over or under?

bodog has it about right now sure I can play that..where else you seeing a line offshore?

sportsbook/hollywoodsportsbook had over 1:50 -175 and SIA had a line over 1:53 -125. I would guess Aguilera to finish around 1:58min.

you know Christina and I go way back, and i am one of her biggest fans....first off, she'll blow it out of the stadium, might be one of the best we'll hear this decade, HOWEVER, she does love to "carry" the notes, and i would have to lean to the over as well...she can milk a song and note for all its worth, along the lines of a Whitney (b.c.), or a Mariah...

no chance you will see a 2 min 18 sec performance like those two..it will be quicker than that...Id play under 1:55 in fact but I dont see a line posted that high yet...
