Monthly Results for 2011

This is going to my year long thread where I post my monthly results.
I generally play 50NL, 100NL, 200NL and the odd MTT.

My goal is to have 9 winning months out of 12 for the year. I am doing this to push myself to play better poker as well as help keep my focus and concentration while I play.

For January, I made $530 plus $430 in rakeback. I have to say I played like crap and spewed alot of money. I went back and forth from playing good poker to playing bad poker as you can see by the graph. I just need to concentrate more.

very good idea.....should be interesting

wish i could eliminate my habit of staying at a table i'm losing at instead of sticking around and losing everything.....seems like every time i drop 30% or more of my buy in, i'm destined to bust out.....wonder how much i could save over the course of the year if i could stand up instead of sticking around

February went downwhill fast then I made a bit of a recovery.

Lost 200BB when I flopped middle set on a As 10 2s against 2 players, one player had a set of Aces and the other player set of 2s. Could see myself folding the set of 2's but I couldn't get away with the middle set. Was a 600BB pot.

It seems like every CR against me is either a set or 2 pair, never a draw or TPTK.

March was bad, down -$712 over 16K hands. Played some PLO, didn't help.

Very busy at worked 1 week and was on vacation for 3 weeks so I never played alot of poker in April. Don't think I am playing bad. Haven't run good all year.
