Ipad,...tablet...netbook etc ect stop the bleeding

This market is blowing up and becoming more and more difficult to pinpoint the right device for the right money and your needs these days.. I locked in on the Samsung Galaxy tab a couple days ago, but feel the 7 inch screen is to small and it's a 2.2 android selling for 500? I would love to see a 9-10 inch win 7 driven device with the hdmi hook ups and sd slots, good screen resolution (hd) but i know that would not happen... anyone have some good experiences they can share? I'm thinking of maybe that dell insprion flip screen deal looked nice.. i don't know,,, ready to blow my head off

Someone please show me something I haven't seen.

seen: archos asysus galaxytab dell inspirion flip... i don;t know, im going blind with all these bs devices...maybe i wait 6 months until the mfrs at netflix at up and running on android?

Ipad by far the best thing going right now! It is games Plus the Internet! If you wait for the new one it will have a camera.....

I understand what your saying BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTT the Ipad does not support FLASH? 75 % of the web is flash?and the pricing for movies and books is ridiculous.. sure I can go watch movies on Netflix, but THATS IT!

The Apps themselves are simply unbelievable! From game Apps to my TD Ameritrade App that I buy and sell stock with.... just amazing!!! Alot of the Apps are FREE!

The I pad is cool ...my best friend has one that I use when we are together, but there always seems to be some site or feature that I can't access and that still drives me nuts. Neat device, but not if you depend on it as your lone internet piece.

get a laptop or an android powered device... bottom line is flash is a necessity.. forget the games and apps on apple they all are on android already or are coming soon too and with flash u can watch porn, movies, watch all sports on websites that stream, play games directly streaming.. no need for downloading..converting..and then putting on an sd card to watch on your apple high paid paperweight

and u dont need to pay ANYTHING for the apps nor movies because with torrents, movies streaming sites, free app software like APPLANET.NET

u cant beat it

seriously ask yourself how often ur literally going to be walking around with a $800 device balancing in your hand that you can only do the minimums of facebook and web exploring on... the games (although fun, are still not going to be as detailed as a high tech laptop on a home device) - not to mention your probably in your house 8-10 hrs of each day (not to mention sleep) and at work 8-10 hrs as well.. so u MIGHT MIGHT get to play with an Ipad about 1 -2 hrs outside of your home, work, or other internet minded setting..... that is being lenient as well considering most people have smart phones like the iphone or droid x and they can do all there computing needs on that as well and then a ipad/tablet is near a waste of money considering u hold the revolution in your hand 90% of the day already.

this is just my opinion... but having and ipad/ cell-phone/ laptop(desktop)at home/ and a navigation system in car is completely a waste of money.. most smartphones do all these tasks and then the comfortable feeling of a desktop or laptop in the home is all that is worth it beyond that.

It changes daily. Either accept that you will have an outdated device if you buy now, or wait at least a few months for more options and lower prices.

I sell both the iPad and the Samsung Galaxy Tab. The fact that the ipad doesnt play flash is a BIG deal. I play with both all day long and prefer the Galaxy. If it were just an inch or two bigger it would be ideal. The new Motorola Xoom will be in store shortly and that will be the tab to get.
The show in Las Vegas a month ago showed a huge boom in tabs. Over the next 6-12 months the market will be flooded with tabs making it more confusing.
A little tip, make a list of features and things you will do with it and go from there.

HP also coming out with a new Tablet soon running WebOS (some announcements due Feb. 9). WebOS is the perfect OS for a tablet device. True multitasking. I hate that you have to start all over everytime you want to switch what you're doing in the iPad.

This...WebOS blows android & IOS away in every area but one. App count. Palm f'd up the hardware on the Pre and thus, didn't get a large enough installed base to where developers wanted to develop for the platform. HP will change that.

I think they will also break some ground with how these devices work together & the cloud as well. To where all of your media & files are available at all times....Dual boot Win7/WebOS computer at work, phone or slate on the move, back to a netbook or slate on your couch.

You have a good opinion with this. But the I-PAD does exactly what is intended to do. It was NOT meant to be a fully fuctional featured touch screen with let's say "laptop capability".

The i Pad is fun, it's easy to use, it does it's job. If enough people want more, they will probably develop something to make it that way.

I just got a Xoom guys. Wife can have the ipad. Xoom is so much better it's not even a fair fight.
