Movie help???

I'm a big fan of any type of heist/con/bank robbery type movie. Think I've watched most of them all now.

However, I remember a while back (but within 10 years), I saw a really cool one that I can't get out of my head but I also can only remember very little of.

I think it was shown on a TV network. The movie was shot kind of like a documentary in which the filmer followed a burglar/thief around while he planned and executed these burglaries. I seem to remember one of the last break ins was a movie theater.

The movie was shot as if it were truly reality. At the end, I think the thief just kind of disappeared and the filmer tried to find him and there was some evidence that he had been murdered.

I can't even remember enough of it to remember if this was truly reality or just completely scripted, but I tend to think the former.

I know it's a long shot, but was hoping someone might have an inkling of the movie I am talking about. Can't get it out of my head and would love to watch it again.

Thanks Hybrid. Just looked it up on imdb and that appears to be it. Not surprised to hear you say its fake. I couldn't remember enough of it to truly determine its validity. Thanks again.

I watched it a few years back and then googled it to see if it was real but it was fake he was just an actor
