I dont know if theres anything worse than going to a sporting event and having a wager on it and losing it. Went to the osu vs mich game tonight and lost a play on the over. Had a good time but that put a damper on it.

i enjoy it, any game i go to i throw money on, unless its a team im a diehard for (yankees or giants) too emotionally invested.. but if i get invited to a game, i will place a wager on a side.. makes it fun

2004 Final Four in San Antonio, UConn -1.5 to Duke

I was joking on the flight down that I should bet on Duke large, then if UConn loses I'll still have something to be happy about. I didn't, I bet UConn.

well Duhon's 3 point shot from just over half court at the buzzer made it a 1 point victory. I could of had the best of both worlds.

I was still in a great mood and partied all night despite losing one of the biggest bets in my life.

Then I won it all back and more on the women's final four, men's championship and women's championship over the next 3 days.

I agree, can't let a losing bet ruin your day. I don't do that any more, although I used to have some sleepless nights.
