I would take a shot and short gold futures. Gold has had a substantial run up and is due to start coming down.

to double 100k to 200k in 5 years will take
an annual rate of return of 14% compounded.
you can not get that return without incurring
sizable risk. i would suggest a covered option
writing program on an index unlikely to
go down. oil comes to mind. if done correctly
and aggressively, it should accomplish your
objectives while incurring the least amount of risk.

I was listening to espn radio this morning on my way to a couple of sportsbooks and there were these guys on with NY accents called vegas-edge; they claim they can help double that kind of money in a matter of weeks

It will be close, but I think Google could double in the next 5 years. But thinking ahead, what is the biggest selling gadget on the market today, that is only going to get bigger? It's the Smart Phone. Verizon will be releasing their new I-Phone next week. And several other cell companines are already looking to outdo it in the next couple years. Their saying that these Smart Phones will eventually take the place of the personal computer. And I don't think it's going to be that far down the road. The problem for these cell companies is the more data that your sending and receiving over the networks, the more it puts a strain on these networks. If I were you I would be looking at the companies that have the infrastructure and the rights to the radio frequencies that support the cell phone networks, and lease these out to the cell phone companies.. I believe the company that has the biggest infrastructure to support these is AMT. But there are others out there. Plus the companies that make the chips for these new phones have to also be making a killing. Just follow the money.
