Brady was almost supernaturally good this season, posting an eye-popping 36:4 TD-to-INT ratio while reeling off nine multi-TD, zero-interception performances to end the season. Had he not suffered a stress fracture in his foot, there's a good chance he would also be capping off the year with his fourth Super Bowl title. The MVP award is his second.

yeah, that part seems a bit unnecessary and far-fetched... still an incredible accomplishment, considering it means that writers from all over the place voted for him. His TD/INT ratio was unreal this year.

I always thought it was funny that people on this forum were saying Michael Vick had a chance.

2 Brady injuries & a miracle reception have erased what would have been
3 more NE Super Bowls in recent years. They have lost their MOJO ;

This league is full of " what would have beens " They shouldn't even be credited with the 1st one. Brady choked with the fumble in the snow !

Luckily for Patriots fans, the rule overrules common sense. It might not even be a stupid rule if you consider how much you hate umpires with different strike zones. IIRC, the "Tuck Rule" was created because there were issues with officials' opinions on what constituted a throwing motion. Thus, the NFL stepped in and said "until that ball is coming back up, it is a throwing motion."
