I am. I don't have luck in other sports. Baseball is the best. Nothing better than 11 games a day.

Been ready since the last pitch of the WS. And not even from a gambling standpoint, from a die-hard baseball fan standpoint. Nothing better than Opening Day!

Doesn't that make it easier to bet on though?

Good thing this year opening day is on a Thursday I think and there's a bunch of games going on.

even though im not nearly as big a red sox fan as i was years ago (think winning 2 ws's had something to do with it) i dont think there is a better feeling then enduring a brutal new england winter only to experience the onset of spring during march/april...the red sox signify spring is here in new england, i cant wait for baseball to start

i was walking down boylston street around noon yesterday and even though it was only feb 6th the sun is starting to get stronger and the days are starting to get longer...it got into the 40's and you could feel the warmth of the sun on your cheeks it was slight but it was there, (it was the 1st time ive felt it in months) it was almost like i was being told dont worry the worst of the winter is over buddy....

I'm ready. Been following the Giants in spring training and can't wait until opening day. A few physical concerns too date. Matt Cain given rest for a sore elbow and closer Brian Wilson yet to throw due to lower back pain. Bochy being very cautious with his players and giving others alot of playing time and a chance to try and make the team.
