I walked into the room and saw that Car Rental sign and immediately recognized it from I-75, and thought WTF? Why are they showing River Rouge during the Super Bowl lol?

Nice to see Chrysler make a comeback. I believe their 70% paid back on their auto loan from the government.

Not 1 republican voted for the auto bailout either. They said, "Let them fail. Let the free market work. This is capitalism at it's finest"

Never forget.

This is exactly what should have happened.
i'm an independent , but lean liberal in alot of views. but i agree that they shouldn't of got money, same as the banks. it's amazing how corporations can claim to be in a mess and need help and then suddenly turn it around and BAM, they are on their feet.

Definitely a banner year for super bowl ads. And this ad is proof of that.

There is also an Eminem ad that's a cartoon that was really good also.

I bought a new ford edge within the past year. Never owned a ford in my life, but i remember when all these car companies came to washington with there hand out begging ford told them to shove there handout up there asses. I would be lying if I said that did not play a small factor into my purchase.

My advertising capstones have ruined my liking of Super Bowl Ads. Most are, actually, failures as a campaign.

Until it's your company on the chopping block. That attitude can be changed real fast when it becomes personal. The Big 3 are now all thriving. Always great news when it comes to the hard working industrial workers of this country.

Lets get something clear here. There are more car plants outside the city than in it. Lets also not forget how all those shareholders that got destroyed when they got nothing. Yet somehow the UAW got a piece of the companies. So now you have the UAW in direct compition with ford and now they get to nogotiate a contract with ford. How does that make sense.

The commercial did a fine job. I want the big 3 to make a good legit comeback.

Hey 3peet you spewing liberal lies again. LOL Repubs did vote for the bailout......lol

3peet is just part of the hate minded left, that creates the hate minded right, that creates the hate minded left. To tell a lie is easy if your goal is worth it.

That 12 million spent will generate much more then that in new sales.
Don't believe it? I'll bump this up when new sales figures come out.
These types of ad campaigns have generated ridiculous sales in the past, history has proven this.

12 million dollars wisely spent.

We need to get back to a country that builds & makes things. Losing the car companies did not help. Chrysler has churned out garbage for years now however. I would never buy one. Maybe if they built quality cars more people would buy them too.

As for the bailouts, no one should get bailed out. If you screw up and go bankrupt, oh well. No free handouts.
