This man is a "genius" when it comes to handicapping BB (his way).

As he always say, "we are fast approaching the promised land"; another BB season on the horizon.

thank God! I got crushed in NFL and what little NBA I played. I know the drill... win money in baseball and only play small in the NFL and NBA Post season - then win more in baseball. Have had better luck sticking to it in the past, but this year I gave back at least 50% of what I won last year in MLB. Sure wish I had that money to be put into MLB bank roll instead of pissing it away on NBA games where I get fucked by a half point in an absolute crap shoot of a finish!!!

Not sure but how did you get such a horrible price on the Cardinals to win the World Series? I see them at close to 25/1...

Sorry for being lazy but his thread is about 200 pages long. Question for followers of Pops-How do you get his plays? Is there an e-mail you can sign up for? Are the Waldos total plays? Does anyone have a total units won or lost from last season? Thanks

As I recall, each year Pops 69 "sets up shop" prior to the season and works with the cappers using his methodology (keeps gambling to an absolute minimum). He has always been very helpful to those that truly wanted to learn his ways. He doesn't get in to "small talk" in his thread.

Yes, some of the home plate umpires are labeled "Waldos"; they relate to over/under stats and other "subtlties".

He usually shows up in the Rx Baseball forum once spring training gets into ful swing..............I sure hope he shows up again this year. He's an expert (not a tout).

I am new to this forum, but not new to BB betting. I am very intrigued by Pops69's method of handicapping. If he does not post his picks, how exactly does he handicap the games on here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anybody have a copy of the master list from the past season? I'd like to study up in advance for 2011 and be proficient with the spreadsheet.

Pops thread is open. He is in the process of uploading his file from bb last year. A bit large so not responding too well.

He posts a master daily which has all gms year to date. Then he posts what he calls a pdws (pitcher daily work sheet). Lists, you guessed it the daily starting pitcher along with the umps and some other bs.

There are no picks given in his thread. His plan is/was to give everyone all the data required for them to do their own work. Lots of pivot tables within the master dealing with how umps do, lines including totals, days on the road, bull pen stats and another 20 30 cols worth of stuff. He will answer any and all questions. If he does not know the answer he finds someone that does.

If someone finds something that is working it does or can be added to one of the two posted files for all to use. If no one finds anything or reports again (you guessed it) there is nothing to use. It is all work and no play. You get out what YOU put in.

Not trying to be negative but that pretty much sums up life in the real world.
