There used to be a separate area for this type of question but notice it isnn't there anymore. Was trying to find out about a pre workout supplement called Jack3D. I goggled and got all types of answers, some good some bad. I am a senior in very good physical shape with no ailments that i know of. I work out three or four days a week, stretching, upper and lower body weight work and cardio.I talked to a guy i ran into one month ago that has been taking one scoop a day pre workout and protien after the workout.I could not believe the difference in the look of the guy. He has tried everything and he said this was a miracle prework out drink.I'm not questioning the effects, i just want to know if it is safe. I don't need anything that jumpstarts the heart or gives me a jumpy feeling.Anyone know anthing about this:ohno:

You could always buy everything separately for a fraction of the cost and tailor the amounts to your own tolerances and sensitivities

NO supplement is a miracle, they are simply EXACTLY what they say....supplements. Jack3d is one of the top pre workout supplements along with SuperPump250 and NOxplode. Whenever you work out you should have a post workout drink/meal, it is the most important. There is a window of about 1 hour after your workout where the muscles are primed to suck in minerals and nutrients, thats why people use Whey proteins because it is a protein that gets absorbed very quickly. Is Jack3d safe?? Well...that totally depends on you, everyone reacts different. I would say yes and definitely test out your tolerance before you jump to a full serving. If you heart issues I would lay off...it will raise your blood pressure, heart rate, and pulse within 30 minutes.

I don't have any heart problems but the blood pressure gets a little high during football season. I think i will try and go with i/2 scoop at first. I don't think i would ever want to have two or three scoops, just something to energize and get the up feeling instead of being tired after a workout. It takes me quite a bit of working out to keep the same strength every year. I seem to take one step forward and two back , although my strength is within 5% of five years ago.

I have taken jacked before. I'm not sure what your goals are, but this is some pretty potent stuff. I get a lot of energy from it... and 3 scoops gives me an almost euphoric feeling. Like I can do anything. I can work out for hours on this stuff.

If you are looking for strictly fat loss, you might want to try VPX meltdown.

If you have any significant medical history, I wouldn't take anything but what your doctor tells you.

I realize there are a million different types of supplement's out there and if it had been a golf club promising more distance i would have jumped on it, i buy about two new clubs a week promising the Holy Grail, however i have seen this guy for the last three years at the fitness studio and he is always talking miracle drugs and i usually let it go in one ear and out the other. This time there was a not even normal looking change in just one month. his biceps were 2 inches bigger . his strength was 15 % more and he didn't even look like the same person.I think i will leave it alone however as i am 20 years older than him and it does have a few warnings i could be worried about even at small doses.
